Birth    :  Thursday 5^th Jamadi al-Awwal 6 A.H. in Madinatul-Munawwarah

Father  :  Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (as)

Mother :  Sayyida Fatima az-Zahra (as)

Death   :  14^th Rajab 62 A.H.

in Sham, Damascus at the age of 56 years

 

Zaynab means anornament or an adornment of her father. Allah (SWT) gave this name to her through His messenger who was alive at the time of her birth. Her titles were:

 

Siddiqa meaning the truthful one.
